Названа десятка самых смертоносных автомобилей мира

Страховой институт дорожной безопасности приводит статистику – в каких автомобилях чаще гибнут люди
Страховой институт дорожной безопасности США (IIHS) представил статистику количества погибших в автомобилях, выпущенных в 2001 - 2004 годы, сообщает Лента.ру.
Чаще всего люди гибли в трехдверных Chevrolet Blazer с задним приводом, а реже всего - в минивэнах Chevrolet Astro. Статистика показывает количество погибших на миллион зарегистрированных в США машин данной модели. При этом, она не зависит от уровня безопасности автомобилей, поскольку большинство смертей приходится на спортивные машины, что объясняется рискованным поведением их водителей на дорогах. На миллион Chevrolet Blazer по статистике приходится 232 погибших, а на миллион - Chevrolet Astro их всего семь. В среднем этот показатель составляет 79 смертей.
